Oh Nature!

Oh Nature!
Mother of a thousand beings,
Today I see your sky, blue and white,
I can’t stop admiring your skill,
your great power, your divine might.

To you I offer this praise,
I share with you my sorrows,
just promise me, I implore,
that I’ll lead to good tomorrows.

Nourish my hope, my life.
Return my lost illusion.
Calm the violence of my raging sea.
Make sense of all this confusion.

I love your land that embraces me when I sleep,
that soothes me when I fall, as it is soft and fine,
it’s subtle sand and dust.
It’s a mix of gravel and tranquility
which amazes me for being so gentle.
Yet its harmony feeds
my insatiable and dirty yearning.

With this, I refer to a poetic harmony,
Not aesthetic, veiled in voluntary dominion.
For there are many deaths, so many endings we can find,
Yet there are also beautiful gardens of all kinds.
Majestic sanctuaries made of radiant futures to find,
Like the moral of a fable where one seeks gold
And only diamonds shine.
